...so on Sat., 7/17/4, I was hangin' with guitarist Roger Steen in a hotel bar in Port Washington, WI after the Fishday Festival in which The Tubes opened for Blue Oyster Cult. He suggested that I start a blog to document my times and travels.

once again, mixed the classy young madison blues act,  cash box kings , at the crystal corner with
special sit-in guest  billy flynn from green bay...another amazing evening of great music on willy st.in madison.

i got the chance to mix the legendary funky drummer clyde stubblefield onca again at the crystal corner in madison along with openers box elder and first-timers mud puppy.

 the lizardz played a fabulous double bill with chicago's  hushdrops which included the overture from Tommy, hello it's me, and most of Volume One from the 'openers' and the debut of cheap trick's voices, as well as several new originals, from us.

 went to the lovely pabst theater for an amazing recreation of genesis' the lamb lies down on broadway by  the musical box with friend and guitar tech jim newhouser-what a FABULOUS onslaught of feel, site, and sound

pilgramage to the holy lambeau to catch the pack's worst performance of the year
against the tennessee titans for all to see on monday night football. we made the most of it as,
once again, brother bill rodencal pulls through and here we are with a couple of  lizardz

i enjoyed mixing milwaukee jam band Southbound at the crystal corner in madison.
these guys have great energy coupled with talent and excellent song selection featuring such influences as the allman brothers, phish, and grateful dead as well as great harmony guitars.

i had the pleasure and honor of mixing the legendary Sleepy LaBeef at the crystal corner in madison.
it was a great show full of segues, old school fun, and raw energy that also featured several local faves sitting in during the second set.

i worked at the ever-fun Willy Street Fair as a bartender representing the crystal corner.
although always a sign of the end of wisco summer, this great annual neighborhood festival featured
excellent crafts, great and diverse food, freedom, and somewhat-exciting music.

here's the world-famous BUBBLEMOBILE, which i was right next to at closing.

JEFFFEST was a huge success! many, many thanks to texas' katsar and so. illinois' wesper for followin' me thru wisco for four shows in three nights in three different cities!
kidnoise also made two of them.

The Weavils closed JEFFFEST on Saturday, 8/28 at
Mill Creek in Appleton, WI.

what began as TODDFEST/Wisco turned into JEFFFEST due to a cancellation of Todd Rundgren's Oshkosh Waterfest show. Several people had already made TRavel plans so we made lemonaid outta lemons. for those, i offered

I played a special solo set, which included some Lizardz as guests from 5:30p to6:45p
...this is a great festival with 3,000 or so people and for a great cause.
